From the outset of all events, I will be focusing on the finished product.
My primary aim is to produce a top quality reminder of your day, where all the emotions are captured both in picture, and sound,
for you to relive over and over again.
All filming is carried out reportage style, which means there is no setting up of shots (with the exception of cutting the cake)
and any other shots requested, this makes for a more natural feel to the days events.
When filming, I will shoot much more than just the bare minimum, normally about six or seven hours of footage, of which,
somewhere in the region of 1¼ to 1½ hours will be included in your final DVD, although, if needed, this can extend to a
maximum of 2 hours.
Two camera's are used for the ceremony (where permitted), and the speeches, to give extra dimension to the finished
production.
I am a firm believer in "less is more" when it comes to assembling your wedding day dvd, the last thing I want to do is provide
for you, a wedding dvd that becomes boring, just because more can be fitted onto the disk.
Whilst filming, I will constantly be looking for unusual or amusing shots to include in your production, and, also making sure that
all the important bits are covered the best way possible.
I also film from various heights and angles where possible, to give a different look to some of the shots in the DVD.
All the editing is carried out on a professional computer based non-linear digital editing suite, where various titles and special
effects will be added, special effects include, black and white, slow motion, still images taken by myself on the day using a
digital still camera, and music of your choice.
The pace of the DVD can be, traditional (slow and romantic) or, lively (more upbeat) and, that decision is yours.
Audio for the ceremony and, the speeches is captured with either wireless lapel microphones, or, portable digital recorders,
and dubbed into the production to give crystal clear sound, so you can recall every word, every emotion.
When assembling your DVD, It is divide it into sections, which can be viewed individually, or from beginning to end as a
complete story.
In the DVD creation process, these sections will be made accessible through a number of chapters, e.g.:- The Wedding
Ceremony, The speeches, so you are able to select the section you wish to view, there is also an option to view the full DVD,
which will run seamlessly throughout.
Towards the end of the DVD, I include a "recap of the day" section, so you can show friends a short clip of your day without
subjecting them to the full DVD, (most couples regard this section as the highlight of the DVD) and, again is set to music of
your choice.
Finally, the DVD ends with a credit roll, with the names of yourselves, and all the key participants of your day.
A second DVD with your wedding ceremony in full is included with all packages (Church weddings only) to enable you to
relive the complete service with no cuts or special effects added.
The DVDs are presented in a personalised case, listing chapters, and details of your wedding, the DVD label is also
personalised, and a luxury DVD case can be provided for a modest charge.
If you require a copy of your DVD for friends or family abroad, the DVD can be supplied in any format for the same charge
as standard extra copies.
